Is this a full quantity surveying service?
No. Easi Takeoff provides drawing measurement and quantity takeoff support. It does not provide cost planning, contract administration, structural advice, design advice or statutory advice.
What drawings do you accept?
PDF construction drawings are preferred. They should include a readable scale or clear dimensions. Revised drawing numbers should be identified where possible.
Can you calculate concrete quantities?
Yes, where the relevant depth or thickness is shown on the drawings or supplied by you. Without a depth, we can provide the measurable plan area but not a reliable volume.
How quickly will I receive the takeoff?
The completion date is confirmed with the fixed quotation. Straightforward takeoffs are normally targeted within three working days after approval and payment.
Are waste factors included?
Only where specifically agreed. The takeoff will state whether quantities are measured net, gross or include a stated allowance.
Can homeowners use the service?
Yes. The results can help a homeowner understand measurable quantities, but contractors and suppliers should still check specifications, allowances and ordering requirements.
